KCA Curling Bonspiel De-Brief

A full complement of 88 Curlers returned and participated yesterday in the 61st Annual Curling Bonspiel held at the Royal Kingston Curling Club.

Members and guests enthusiastically greeted and competed against each other over the course of the day welcoming the opportunity to mingle, network and simply reconnect.

Good curling was followed by a great buffet style dinner. A huge thank you goes out to Convenor Joe Waller and his support team of additional family members and friends who put on a first-class event in concert with the RKCC facilities.

Positive feedback continues to be received with the bonspiel format of 2 games and a “draw to the button” contest. A later morning start with an earlier dinner is a winning formula for this mid-week event especially for those travelling in from around the region.

At the end of the day, (wait for it), the M.Sullivan & Son trophy was hoisted by the M.Sullivan & Son Team who were honored to accept. Congratulations!!
