Maritime Dinner De-Brief

It’s hard to explain. You had to be there. After a 2-year absence, the energy and anticipation as over 400 members and guests came together this past Wednesday evening for the 43rd Maritime Night mingle, and dinner was pleasantly familiar but different. The greetings, the conversations, and the smiles towards friends, business associates and new entrants into our membership and industry seemed more sincere, enthusiastic, and heartfelt that evening. It had been a long time since many were able to connect in person. If this is the event new normal, we’ll cherish it and build on it!

An event of this nature does not come together without a huge commitment from member volunteers. From event convenor Don Botting along with team captains Jamie MacDuffee (All Safety Consulting) and Pete McAuley (Noble), John Henderson (Henderson Total Maintenance), and Francis Beehler (Beehler Electric). Special thanks to Rob and Sergio at Findlay Foods and the Lady of Fatima Parish Hall. All food offerings are cooked on site and went off without a hitch despite the rain and gusty winds! All and all, there are over 30 volunteers involved with special thanks to all the sponsors, helpers, chefs, and prize donators for making this a very special evening. And last but not least, to you, the Members for your tremendous support through your attendance and participation!
