Applications for the abovementioned program have surpassed the initial program targets leading the City to temporarily pause application intake. Many will recall a program update on this Local Improvement Charge (LIC) financing initiative was part of the presentation by the City at our recent Fall dinner meeting. Homeowners can qualify for up to $40000 in zero-interest loans to complete residential retrofits such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, and improved insulation that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
