City of Kingston Contemplating New Program to promote Additional Residential Units

The City of Kingston is contemplating the launch of a new program to promote the development of Additional Residential Units (ARU). ARU’s are self-contained dwelling units located on existing single-detached, semi-detached, and townhouse properties. The new program if approved by Council at the August 13th meeting will provide financial incentives for ARU projects subject to eligibility criteria and conditions.
