Coming This Fall

Over the past number of months your KCA has been involved in a number of initiatives being developed for the newly formed Ontario Construction Association Alliance (OCAA) which includes the Windsor Construction Association, London and District Construction Association, Grand Valley Construction Association, Niagara Construction Association, Ottawa Construction Association, Northeastern Ontario Construction Association and the Kingston Construction Association.

Firstly, a completely new web based application to collect projects from the entire province via the electronic plan room is in the final stages and set for testing. The OCAA has partnered with eSolutions Group and their bidding platform bids&tenders in this development and the result will greatly enhance your access to projects, bid preparation , end to end project updates and closeout.

Secondly, the OCAA is resurrecting and revamping the Link2Build website which will produce a daily construction newsletter with relevant articles, access to Association websites , the ability to advertise as well as the opportunity to post Certificates of Substantial Performance (CSP’s) and other notices required by Ontario law under the Construction Act. So stay tuned for important updates as we move through testing and ultimate implementation!
